What was your favorite part of the Earth Summit?
“The oil spill activity was gross and cool.”
“Getting involved with all of the activities.”
“When we did the experiment on the oil, because it really helped
me learn more about the dangers to sea creatures when there’s
an oil spill.”
“I liked all the hands-on activities”.
“I thought this place taught me a lot.”
“Meeting new people.”
“Lunch! It was a lot better than our normal cafeteria.”

“I liked the fact that inspite of the immense problems we have
the conference was very hopeful.”

“The quality of speakers and their activities were terrific1”
“The kids love hearing authentic speakers.”
“I like the hands-on activities the best because they encouraged
the students to get a better understanding of complex concepts.”
“The student presenters/organizers really did a tremendous job.
Kudos to all!”When asked, “If given the opportunity, would
you attend the 2004 NHYES?” 97% of all students said “YES”,
and 100% of all chaperones agreed!
